Ryan Watson Consulting Pty Ltd (RWC) was registered in Victoria, Australia on 29 October 2020. The Directors are Richard Watson and Peter Ryan, both with PhDs in Physics, and Secretary Ashley Watson, BCom, CPA. We have hosted several interns gaining industry experience and several volunteers for short periods. In semester 2, 2025/semester 1, 2026 we are hosting three talented volunteers to work on projects involving analysis of LiDAR and optical imagery data. These projects are being done in partnership with Whitehorse City Council in Melbourne and Darwin-based Civiltech Solutions Pty Ltd. 

In 2026 we are employing Mr Nahid Tanjum in the hybrid management/technical role of Data Scientist (GeoAI). Nahid completed a Bachelor of Computer Science majoring in Data Science from Swinburne University of Technology and is currently doing a Master of Engineering (Research – Civil Engineering) at Swinburne with a focus on AI-driven construction cost forecasting. Nahid also operates a company in Bangladesh so will be able to help RWC with its marketing.

Kartik Ramesh has a Bachelor of Science from Monash University majoring in Pharmacology and minors in Computer Science and Physiology, and is currently doing a Master of Data Science at Monash. He has worked as an Intern in the Bureau of Meteorology where he worked on a hydrological model to forecast flooding.

Priya Kodge has a Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Kamataka, India and a Master of Data Science from Swinburne. She has published a paper on Climate Extremes in International Journal of Innovative Research in Technology.

Pragna (Paige) Jayaram Hemalatha has a Bachelor of Data Science degree from Presidency University, Bangalore, India and last year completed a Master of Data Science degree from RMIT University. Paige has professional experience in India as a Web Developer, Social Media Analyst and Market Research Intern and is currently employed in Melbourne by Tech Mahindra.
