Ryan Watson Consulting Pty Ltd (RWC) was registered in Victoria, Australia on 29 October 2020. The Directors are Richard Watson and Peter Ryan, both with PhDs in Physics, and Secretary Ashley Watson, BCom, CPA. We have hosted several interns from Swinburne University of Technology and several volunteers for short periods. In first semester 2024 we are hosting two interns to work on a project sponsored by Whitehorse City Council involving analysis of LIDAR data. We also have two volunteers interested in working on the company’s research projects.

Intern Rishika Agrawal completed a Bachelor of Engineering and Telecommunications at Pune University, Pune, India and is currently doing a Master of Business Information Systems at Swinburne. She was previously employed as a Senior Systems Engineer for Infosys Ltd in Bangalore, India where she worked in areas including app development and API testing and documentation.

Intern Vishean Veloo completed a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland and is currently doing a Master of Data Science at Swinburne. He previously worked as a Civil Engineer for Vismarin Sdn Bhd in Selangor, Malaysia where he worked as a manager of construction procurements and site planning.

Volunteer Rishi Luitel completed a Bachelor of Information Technology at Central Queensland University, Sydney and a Master of Information Technology at Swinburne. He previously worked as an Application Developer at Swinburne University, Hawthorn and as a Data Science Intern for Ryan Watson Consulting in semester 3, 2023.

Volunteer Prim Hansakul completed a Bachelor of Architecture and Planning at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bangkok, Thailand, and a Master of Data Science at Swinburne. Prim has held various positions as a Data Analyst in Thailand and Australia and an internship with Ryan Watson Consulting in semester 2, 2022, for which she was outposted to Whitehorse City Council’s GIS Team.
